By booking and attending sessions with Ray's Therapy, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Terms & Conditions

1. Services Provided

  • Counselling sessions are offered to support wellbeing and personal development

  • Services are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or emergency care.

2. Confidentiality

  • All sessions are confidential, except where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or where disclosure is required by law.

  • Records are stored securely in line with professional and legal standards.

3. Appointments & Cancellations

  • Sessions must be booked in advance.

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late cancellations or missed sessions will be charged at the full session fee.

  • If I need to cancel, you will be offered an alternative appointment or a full refund.

4. Fees & Payment

  • Session fees are agreed in advance and payable by [insert payment methods].

  • Payment is due [before/after] each session.

  • Refunds are issued in line with the Refund Policy.

5. Professional Boundaries

  • Counselling is a professional relationship. Dual relationships (such as friendships or social contact outside therapy) are not permitted.

  • Sessions are conducted in line with ethical standards set by NCPS.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are expected to attend sessions punctually and engage respectfully.

  • Clients must provide accurate information relevant to their care.

  • Any concerns should be raised promptly so they can be addressed.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Counselling is provided in good faith, but outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

  • Ray's Therapy accepts no liability for decisions made or actions taken outside sessions.

8. Emergencies

  • Counselling is not a crisis service.

  • In urgent situations, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or dial 999.

9. Data Protection

  • Personal information is collected and stored in compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act.

  • Clients have the right to access, amend, or request deletion of their data.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
